I remember in Kaohsiung there was a teaching supply store called Tiny Tots. Is there one in Taipei and if so does anyone know the address?

There used to be one just off the corner of Chung Hsiao E Rd. on Chienkwo S. Rd. in the same building that Roxy Stage is in. You’re out of luck, though. It disappeared about three weeks ago and has since been replaced by a golf store. Don’t know if they went bankrupt or just relocated; just walked by it everyday on my way to work.

I just went to the old store location yesterday. I didn’t make it all the way to the new store/school because I was meeting someone for dinner, but I did snap a picture of the change of address sign on the outside. According to the picture, they have moved to

If they are keeping the same hours as they did on Jianguo and Zhonghsiao, then they are open until 7pm Monday to Saturday. I’ll pass along more info as I plan to go there either tonight or tomorrow.
I went to the new address today but it was a bank building. If they had an office in there they had so signs posted outside and I couldnt go in to check as the kids were sleeping in the car. Have you been by yet Imaniou?
It’s down a lane. The store is a bit cramped, just like their old store was. A lot of their flashcards and bulletin board stuff is downstairs in the basement. It’s a bit hard to see since there’s not a street front door although it’s on the ground floor, but it’s on the left-hand side of the alley. Going there again today to pick up some birthday certificates.

I guess I should have updated this a few years back since I always seem to be able to find their newest locations.
Tiny tots is very close to the Liuchangli MRT station on the Brown Line. To get there, cross Keelong Rd. (the intersection that is straight in front of you when you get exit the station. Go left (west) along Keelong Rd. (you’ll pass a chiropractor supply store). Pass the first little lane and it’s through the big entrance next to the photocopy store. The store is on the 2nd floor. Ring the bell and the lady will let you in. They still have all of the stock they had at their Xinsheng location with a room set aside for subject-related teaching materials (science, social studies, drama, etc.).
I’ve been going to the new location to pick up teaching materials to help prepare my private student for attending junior high in the US. They are so friendly and sweet and go out of their way to help you get what you need, recently finding a world history book that had been out of print and cutting the price on it because it wasn’t the edition I had originally requested (on top of the 10% discount I already have there).
