Been pissing with rain here all night, will they open the track if it’s wet? That is Taipei though, Longtan could be different. I’ll head down if it eases up.
I would totally agree that the track is the place to really improve your skills. After practicing for days doing circles in a lot, the first time i got my knee down was at the track. You get to practice the same corners over and over again, and they are true to real riding situations so you can really focus on refining your techniques in a set situation. I hope you guys are having fun out there today. I’m really jealous… I’m going to check on my new bike today though, so hopefully next time I can make it and start brushing up on riding again.

Although the turnout was sparse, it was nice to meet some new faces.
This should be made a monthly event. Somebody can bring a grill and we’ll have a BBQ.

Sparse? iix23 and I had the track to ourselves for the first 45 minutes. It really does help. I was definitely faster this time around than last week. Ironman, who put down the only decent wheelie of day, said “Last week you looked like you were going to 7/11” “This week you look like you want to get there in a hurry”
I’d like to do this bi-weekly, or even weekly as long as the weather holds. We actually had beautiful sunny skies, and despite the wind was a nice morning for track day.
iix23 had a video camera mounted up to his bike, so should have some nice footage up later tonight or tomorrow on his website.
Heck, iix23 and I had the whole place to ourselves for almost an hour before you showed up. 
Yep, it was a good day.
It didn’t look good a the beginning. I was alone at the track for an hour and the weather was changing to shit. I was very glad to see the sun come back and people arrive.
MJB is right. We were a lot faster than the week before.
I even scared myself a little. The flowers were calling me on the side of the track (they were saying “Come on to the side of the track to pick us up for your wife.”) and I almost fell for it (or on them) Ha ha ha.
I got experience with these kinds of things. Once in Kanting, it was the “sirens” that were calling me in the water when I was “Jet skiing” Ha ha ha.
I agree with MJB I will probably go every weekend until the weather gets bad or I get bored. (You know men with toys get bored fast. We always need something new after a while.)
I am presently working on the video. It should be online tomorrow night.
PS- I would appreciate if we could keep my threads clean.
I am trying to get people together to have fun. When ever I read personal disagreements, well, it’s not fun and I am sure that it doesn’t motivate new people to come and have fun with us.
Had a great time just as a spectator and doing a bit of impromptu lap timing. Thanks for posting about your track days, I’d sure like to make it to some more.
I was thinking the same think about the BBQ. I have a portable gas one, which I’ll bring next time I go.
its so sad that i couldn’t go… next weekend i will also be away… he guang shan and ali shan… anyway i will go back to the track and with the bbq idea… i will go fore sure jejeje
Of course, living 5 min from the track and if some guys finally decide to show up here than I miss the thread by one day. 
Next time somebody PM me or at least MJB should give me a call than, would like to make some photo shots from you guys.
