Where can I find a large selection of handyman tools?
I know that there are lots of small shops that sells tools, but they generally have little choice.
Specifically, I was looking for concrete expansion nails (over 3 cm long), heavy hammer, long elbow screwdriver, and various kinds of sandpaper.

B&Q in Shilin has almost every tool you could ever need. If you want some place smaller, there is a small store near the Mingte MRT station (near Mingte Road) that I like very much.

There are lots of tool and hardware shops in Taiyuan Street. It is in the “houchezhan” area north-west of Taibei Main Station, running parallel to and between Chengde and Chongqing North roads. Try the Guofengsheng hardware store

Yeah, you can get all that stuff at B&Q, except for the “long elbow screwdriver,” which, of course, you made up. :unamused:
