I thought this might be a thread where we can discuss our personal scary nightmares. My personal scariest one is so bad, when I once described it to a friend he advised getting psychiatric help (giggle).
My scary nightmare has always been where i forgot to wear pants. And I am going about my business and so far nobody spotted that I was not wearing any pants. But I was always so highly embarashed and wished I had not forgotten my pants AGAIN.
Always woke up in a sweat on that one. And no, i do wear undies to bed.
I have a recurring scary dream in which I’ve murdered someone (and not been caught by the man). Then I’ve got to live with the fact that I’ve committed murder haunting me (always there lurking somewhere in the back of my mind). I don’t watch much TV or movies, and have no desire to murder anyone. Sometimes I’ll wake in the morning after one of these dreams and think to myself, “Wait, did I kill someone at sometime and bury it in my sub conscience?” When I’m fully awake I realize I’ve never killed anyone. I’m not prone to blackouts either, so I never offed anyone during a blackout then forgot about it when regaining full consciousness. Maybe time to visit the shrink. 
Ah, I have the weirdest dreams. Not scary, just…weird.
While people like my dad are busy dreaming about meaningful things like correctly predicting the votes Ma got in 2012 (accurate to the 1000’s. Dude psychic.) I dream about the most random things. Like Bread Superman, getting dumped over the head with a crate of cockroaches, and idk Sherlock and John doing the do I suppose. I don’t remember them now.
I wonder what Freud would think.
