Yes, 碘-70 :discodance:.
Er, what is it? 20 tins have just arrived in our garage. Youtube suggests cooking oil:
Is it good for you?

Well, the byline reads 頂級植物油, high-grade vegetable oil.
thanks db - it’s apparantly an extract from palm oil. What type of palm, no idea. The 碘 (iodine) refers to some kind of test they do on oil to ascertain how healthy it is. This stuff measures 70 on that scale, which is in the golden range of 60-90.
Of course that could all be made up by the manufacturers, so just quite how healthy this stuff is, who knows. Always a wary of infommercials. Am sure it’s very healthy for the guy who runs the company.
Palm oil? That’s like THE worst for transfats, isn’t it? Basically poison.
Yeah, that’s been my impression too, but according to the Wiki article, it’s actually controversial. Anyway, I’ll stick to my olive oil.
Be nice. Like I said, we’ve tins of the stuff. Anyway, this is extract of palm oil :s . Suspect the Chinese that my wife was trying and failing to translate was transfatty acids.
It doesn’t help that it comes packaged like motor oil.
Iodine 70? Sounds like an isotope of iodine. But the only stable isotope is Iodine 127.
Yeah, that’s definitely what the name sounds like, which is very odd.
BTW, it might be palm oil based biodiesel. Where’s urodacus when you need him?
