Toronto eye-doc snaps, police detain (w/video)

CNN even picked this one up, a story that happened recently in Toronto. I really enjoyed it. Thought I’d share.

75 year-old City-News reporter Peter Silverman gets abused by a shady optometrist who doesn’t like his investigating into complaints from customers. The one lady customer at the beginning is priceless too. I don’t know, the video really cracked me up. The guy wigged bad, barricaded himself in his shop after telling the cops to fuck off, and emergency rescue units eventually showed up before he gave up.

Peter Silverman has been doing his Silverman Helps show at City TV for years. He’s always going after con artists and fraudulent people in general. Over the years he’s had some classic run-ins with some pretty scary (at times) people. He does a lot of good.

im surprised that the squad car cops couldnt handle the situation. In the USA it wouldve taken only 2 cops at most to handle that. And even in Taiwan the taiwanese coppers wouldve broken the door down and drawn their guns if they had to. The dude wouldve quietly come out. NO riot police needed. What pansies
