I’m not sure I understand what you mean. What nationality/citizenship do husband and wife have?
One being an ROC citizen to be a compatriot, the spouse being from anywhere.
OK, I understand. Well, that sounds like an interesting situation, but I don’t see it as something that would cause the PSB/Foreign Ministry to blow a gasket. It’s quite a pain for a foreigner married to a PRC citizen to go through the steps to get a resident card. My guess is that the PRC government may not have a policy for spouses of Taibaozheng holders with spouses living on the mainland, but they would likely develop a policy quickly if you enquired.
