that’s unnecessary. People like other people’s comments, and people agree with other’s statements. everybody knows the meaning of that icon. there’s also nothing wrong with it in the first place.

Over 100 severe injuries and aren’t some people still trapped? There’s cars they can’t even get to. Hate to be a bummer, but it’d be a miracle if the death toll doesn’t rise. Hopefully they counted some deceased twice.

According to the news all the passengers have been pulled out so it seems like the number would stay for the most part (which is incredibly high as it is).
I think the fact that it happened in a tunnel is really unfortunate. Otherwise it wouldn’t be as deadly.

Almost 50… super tragic. And yes we can be pretty sure that driving cha bu duo is the cause, i just hope that 50 deaths is enough to make people take it seriously and not write it off as an accident without any blame.

I can already see the social media posts about being kind to the poor driver or financially supporting a possible defense fund, and the actual victims being completely ignored. Some idiot celeb will say the driver looks like their grandpa or some shit.

Not now, but I’m just speculating that it might happen. I’m pretty sure it’s happened in the past in other similar incidents. People like to forgive a lot of cha bu duo type accidents here, because it reminds them of some mistake their parents or grandparents might make.

MY MISTAKE. That was the train driver, not the truck driver.
Looks like there is construction going on right now and the truck fell from some access road. The road is right above the tracks, you would think there would be some barrier to prevent such an accident.

There is an access road off the off ramp close to where I live. It’s pretty scary to look down there.

Condolences and a moment of silence for all those who lost their life today and for those who lost a loved one or friend.
Take a moment to appreciate life, health and family a little more. We never know when any of those might be lost to us.
Truly an avoidable tragedy I hope society will take to heart and learn from.
