Translation of Documents

What does it cost to have a household registration extract translated?
How about notarization?
Birth certificate?

Try calling a translation agency. But since you give them the correct (desired) spelling of all the names, most of the time they do little more than format. Can’t get around it, though. They’re the ones who can get the notarization done most efficiently (if you mean the type that involves the court here in Taiwan).

For myself, that sort of translation job is usually a minimum charge, which means US$40 or so. That’s without notarization, but you can have a spiffy translator’s certification!
