Transmission on a Hartford HD150

Can anyone confirm that the transmission on a 2003 Hartford HD150 is 1 down 4 up? Thanks

A coworker / friend has a 200 and I’d say that it was “international” system, so 1 N 2 3 4 (5?). But last time I rode it was more than one year ago, so I’m not 100% sure.

I think the 200’s are international like you say. Just wondering if the 150s were the same…

The 200’s are international style gears, but the 150’s usually aren’t especially a 2003. Maybe the new 150’s are international style, but the older ones aren’t for sure.

Thank you. Can you tell me more about the gearing, i have searched on google but can’t find anything. Is it N12345 and you can change from 5 straight to N?

If they use the old system that remains popular here in Asia, it would be something like that (when you step onto the pedal, if you go up then your shifts would look like this: 4,3,2,1,N,4,3,2,1,N… etc). Anyway, yes, it’s a circular system, so you jump from the highest gear to neutral, which sometimes is scary. And sometimes you can also end up in 1st gear when going fast…

Thanks for the help!!!
