Trip to Thailand

Hi all,

I am sure that many of you did a trip to Thailand, so I wanted to know wich travel agency they have used to get the better price ? It seems that there are many such traval agencies here in Taipei, so I do not know wich one is the better one for Thailand …

many Thanx!

Air tickets are all about the same price whichever agent you go through. And you don’t really need to book accom for Thailand - plenty of places to stay. Just turn up and you’ll find somewhere pretty quickly.

Of course, if you want to stay in a particular hotel, or want a package tour, then you may need an agent. In that case I can’t help you - I’ve never understood why anyone would want to take a package tour.

nope, I don’t want a package tour, just a two ways ticket. But I was thinking that a travel agancy could find a better price for me that these tickets I have seen on the net …

I think flights to Thailand are similar prices from most travel agents, although I usually use Sean at Interlink or Super Star Travel. I think as long as you get a group ticket you will get a good deal. Sean at Interlink speaks good English though, which makes life easier! Once you arrive in Thailand I normally use PMP Travel agency for car hire/ hotels and trips etc. I have shopped around and they seem to offer the cheapest deals and are based near Phuket airport.

Interlink’s phone number is: 02-2578-0611,
e-mail address is intlink@ms11.hinet.net
URL is www.interlink.com.tw.

PMP Travel agency’s phone number is (66) 087 264 6808
E-mail: info@pmpagent.com
URL is www.pmpagent.com

I hope this helps and have a safe trip!

I was wondering, is there any place that I need to watch out for in Thailand? like what places speaks Chinese or English since I don’t speak thai… is there any survival guide of some kind?

What kind of name is that??

In most areas where tourists go, you’ll have few problems communicating in English.

I’m thinking of going to Thailand. I’d like to ask about their visa on arrival thing. If I do the visa on arrival, will it be a long process? I mean, is there long lines in getting the visa on arrival in Thailand? Thanks to those who will reply.

What country is your passport from?

By the look of your English you seem to be a native speaker. US, British Commonwealth and EU get 1 month landing visa. I’m not sure about South African. If you have to buy a visa, it’s for two months.

book your flight with this:

book your hotel with this:

For the 30-day landing visa that citizens of most Western countries are allowed, you just line up in the immigration line.

Taiwan passport.

That changes things.

Air Asia Airlines has tickets to Bangkok for as cheap as NT$2600 sometimes. My recent ticket was NT$5000.
