Maybe Trump wanted Rubio for this and other reasons. He was also confirmed by the senate and unanimously confirmed. All the Democrat senators love Rubio too.
Well Trump campaigned on this as well. So it’s not like people were not aware that this would happen. Her husband knew he was going to be in deep shite with the Trump administration for his actions.
Well how about advocating for the destruction of western civilization and imposing Sharia Law? A lot of support in the protests was also support for Hamas. Sure there was a duality for supporing Palestinians and Hamas at the same time.
Of course it means something. Death to America. Does that not mean anything to you?
The Court unequivocally declared in Turner v. Williams that some views may be “so dangerous to the public weal that aliens who hold and advocate them would be undesirable additions to our population.” Governments, the Court continued, “cannot be denied the power of self-preservation,” and thus they have the right to deport individuals, like Khalil, who support foreign terrorist organizations and the destruction of Western civilization.
She claimed - correctly- that she had no standing to judge the validity of Rubio’s accusations against Khalil but that Rubio had the legal authority to prosecute perceived enemies of the state on very loose grounds.
What’s horseshit is claiming that criticizing Israel’s actions in Gaza makes one an enemy of the state in the US even on very loose grounds.

SecState Rubio has that right under the law and even though some claim it is rarely used it has been used by all administrations. Visas are revoked all the time.
Anyway the legal processes will play out. It’s not like the detained is not getting deported without due process.
Maybe read the whole judgement. Also SCOTUS has ruled in other cases POTUS can decide who can enter the country or be removed. Anyway we shall see what the final ruling will be as his green card issuance can be challenged on other grounds and be cancelled.
The Louisiana judge has given Khalil’s lawyers a deadline of April 23 to file applications for relief to stop his deportation. The judge said if they failed to make the deadline, she would file an order of removal to either Syria or Algeria.
Van der Hout told a federal judge that Khalil will file the appeal after the immigration judge who ruled him “removable” issues the final written ruling. Van der Hout added that Khalil’s legal team may also pursue an asylum case.
“So nothing is going to happen quickly in the immigration proceeding even though she’s found him removable on the foreign policy grounds,” he said.
The judge gave lawyers for Khalil until 23 April to seek a waiver.
