Trump vs. the Deep State

It seems to me that Brennan, whilst pontificating frequently about the integrity of the investigation, was exhibiting the very traits that he claimed to despise .

yes I noticed that too.

The unconscious hypocrisy of those devoid of self awareness.

When the full report is released, I suspect the ones most loudly calling for its release will be the most harmed by its revelations.

Surber doesn’t always make sense, but sometimes he hits the nail on the head…

The walls are closing in. A hackneyed phrase, but ironically appropriate. A better one would be: the tables are turning.

It’s nonsense, the walls closed in 10 minutes after Trump took power. Mike Pompeo took over the CIA and Gina Haspel (ex head of London CIA division) spilled the beans.

Why wouldn’t she? Her confirmation was clouded by the fact she carried out torture, why wouldn’t she is her system of belief if answering to a higher authority. So Trump is President do you think she is not going to tell all?

Oh , nice picture of Gina Haspel in a dress with white hats.

Haha…the NYT is trying to finagle its way to support a wall, without saying so.
MSM is seeing the :bulb:

They’re fighting a rearguard action against the truth. Give them credit - it’s an orderly retreat.

yep, kind of like the Wehrmacht retreating from the eastern front during the last 2 years of the war

Declassify all the things!

Everything is a distraction from everything else.

I don’t know that there’s a lot of evidence for this but DiGenova is trying to draw a direct line from Obama using the IRS to target conservative groups to the current investigations. Brennan is interviewed non-stop because he keeps saying he ‘saw things’ as CIA director that implicate Trump in collusion but Mike Rogers is a guy I’ve never heard speak. I remember he said Snowden was simply doing what he thought was right and wasn’t working for anybody and supposedly warned Trump of FISA abuse that caused the campaign to re-locate (and Trump said his Tower was bugged)…and then retired.

The Russia hoax was a cover-up effort for Obama’s political spying since 2012 Read more: https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/05/joe_digenova_blows_the_lid_off_the_emrealem_scandal_the_russia_hoax_was_a_coverup_effort_for_obamas_political_spying_since_2012.html#ixzz5pdfO6ihA Follow us: @AmericanThinker on Twitter | AmericanThinker on Facebook

This is certainly interesting:

Fusion GPS was not hired in April 2016 to research Donald Trump. As shown in the evidence provided by the FISC, the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The Obama administration already knew everything about the Trump campaign, and were monitoring everything by exploiting the FISA database. (snip)

However, after the NSA alerts in/around March 9th, 2016, and particularly after the April 18th shutdown of contractor access, the Obama intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to create a legal albeit ex post facto justification for the pre-existing surveillance and spy operations. Fusion GPS gave them that justification in the Steele Dossier.

That’s why the FBI small group, which later transitioned into the Mueller team, are so strongly committed to and defending the formation of the Steele Dossier and its dubious content. The Steele Dossier contains the cover-story and justification for the pre-existing surveillance operation. (snip)

Fusion GPS was not hired to research Trump, the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to give them a plausible justification for already existing surveillance and spy operations.

Fusion-GPS gave them the justification they needed for a FISA warrant with the Steele Dossier. Ultimately that’s why the Steele Dossier is so important; without it, the DOJ and FBI are naked with their FISA-702 abuse….

No idea where this goes in a post-Mueller world. It reeks of paranoia, even within the context of the Patriot Act.

If it’s true, then it’s yet one more reason that Americans dislike big government. The bigger government is, the more likely such abuses of power become.

And if you believe that the Mueller investigation provides justification for more investigation - on the grounds of American democracy is threatened by a rogue President - then you are certainly forced to support a similarly-resourced, deep dive into any possibility of FISA abuse by President Obama.

Probably nowhere, not that this hasn’t been known for years. Just how do you expect the FBI and DOJ to investigate when they themselves are the source of wrong doing. The media don’t cover it, because they are complicit, they willingly peddle the narratives and leaked material when it suits the interest of the establishment lawyers and prosecutors.

Even when they get caught red handed, like the guy that leaked Carter Pages FISA application to his mistress at the NY Times, judges decline to prosecute. By the way, that’s the same judge who declined to prosecute Andrew McCabe, and gave the Awan brothers a slap on the wrist when they could have been facing 20 federal charges and to add, that judge was appointed by Trump. Cut one swap head down, (Comey) get another swap head in their place (Wray).

Good discussion with Sidney Powell if you have time.

A telling objection:
