If you’re in Neihu and are looking for a place with decent, healthy food and good coffee, you may like to check out Tu’s Day. Owner and waitress were former Nonzero staff.
I like their spiced chicken grilled sandwich (owner makes the bread herself). The sandwich set comes with salad and very good Americano/black tea ($320). The coffee beans are lightly roasted by an award-winning professional roaster in Taichung, and blended using Honduras, Guatemala, Ethiopia and Mandheling beans.
Their pumpkin orzo and Thai green curry chicken w/ rice (green curry made from scratch!) are also delicious.
Oh, and they make pretty good scones and cookies, too.
Tu’s Day is kid- and pet-friendly. Credit cards accepted. No service charge. Semi-self service (get your own cutlery and water; food will be served to you)
