TV Tuner - USB or Express card?

hey all,

i’ve got an asus g1s laptop that is currently hooked up to my plasma for joost and gaming. basically, i want to stick a tv tuner in it as well, but am unsure if should go for an express card or external usb setup.

express card would be my preference (as there would be less clutter) but i have no idea which is better in regards to performance, reliability, etc.

since most of those cards use software based encoders, performance will depend on your laptop. usb/express card tuners are quite limited but it all depends what you want to do with it. casual tv watching will be fine.
