Two abandoned kittens need a home

For the two days since returning from the typhoon day, there had been mewling that could be heard in all parts of our ground-floor school. At first, I thought there was just a litter of kittens, but the mewing was consistent and became very urgent last night. I went behind the school and found these two little guys, barely moving…

I put them into a box where they curled up together and fell asleep peacefully, probably for the first time in days, and took them to the vet to be checked out. They were both malnourished and have eye infections and worms (of course), but other than that, they are healthy. They can eat solid food, but need some time to get better before they are ready to eat it.

As much as I would love to, I cannot give these two little ones a home. I have a cat whose temper makes him a danger to kittens as he has demonstrated before. Plus the strain of taking care of four cats, especially two young ones, is more than I can budget in time and money. They are currently staying at the animal hospital, but I cannot afford their boarding for much longer as I am already under financial strain from shortened working hours this summer.

Yin and Yang are survivors and deserve a loving home where they can finally be safe. Please send me a text at 09 2087 3727 if you know of someone who can take them in.

I’m in Kaohsiung and can take the kittens until they find a home. I’ve fostered 4 BARK cats and 2 of my own kittens (found by my ex-gf).

If you’re in Taipei then it’s not that easy though.

These two sweet hearts are now at Animals Taiwan and are looking for loving homes. This means we now have 7 kittens at our centre looking for homes. We can’t help any more until we make space. Please help spread the word if you know of anyone looking to adopt a cat or kitten, or a puppy or an adult dog.
