Taipei City Playgroup is running two activities for kids aged 5 and up this week.
Tuesday 10-12 - Photography Workshop
Limit: 12 kids
Ages:5 and up
Cost $400
Please bring own digital camera
Kids will learn some basics about their camera and how it works, and basic composition ideas. They will take photos and get feedback on their pictures.
Saturday 2-4pm Spelling Bee
Ages: Grades 1 to 6
Cost: $100
This is designed to be a fun spelling event, where kids will all be rewarded for their efforts
Contest rules:
Each child will be tested, in turn, on a word from the list of his or her grade level. If a word is misspelled, the child will be handed a letter. When the child has accumulated the three letters “B-E-E” then he or she will be considered eliminated from the contest.

Each child will receive a prize for participation. Grand prizes of NT$100 will be awarded to first, second, and third prize winners.
