I meant tomorrow… the original forecast said that the worst part of the typhoon would be on Wednesday (perhaps more like tonight) but now @IbisWtf was saying that the typhoon is weakening… and I really need a day off tomorrow for thinking about typhoons and life.

Banana off

Heard the same. Not the best deal, but it’s a good negotiation starting point.

wtf I end work at 4pm already that doesn’t help me at all.

We gotta get the whole of Wednesday off! COME ON MARIA! BLESS US!

Better than a whack to the nuts with a frozen mukluk…

5pm?! So we all 2 million Taipei citizens go out at teh same time and have one hour to go home before the party gets started?!

As we say in Spanish: PERO QUE HUEBVOS!!!

Yeah, screw that, I got a pretty long commute, I’m finna fuck off about 2…

Consistent with the above, Dragonbabe informs me that school and work stop at 4 pm today. Expect traffic jams.

So is this thing moving too fast to call off work on Wednesday??? :triumph::triumph::triumph::triumph:

It’s a good thing people on this thread are so informed. I haven’t heard much of anything about it from local Taiwanese. Thanks for all the research into this - far more useful than the 24hr news.

I think even 30 minutes will make a huge difference. Fridays are bad enough when far less people work late. This will be crazy tonight.

I should’ve just called in sick. Dammit.

Usually that means they hate you.
