What do I need to download to enable my people to type Chinese characters on my computer?
I get Chinese e-mails and can read them OK, but I can’t work out how to type Chinese.
Any advice appreciated, and apologies if this has been asked before, but my search wasn’t helpful.

Easy. You need to set your Windows up so you can choose to input Chinese. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel. Choose Regional & Language Options. Click Languages. Click Install Language files for East Asian Languages.
Once that’s all done (or if it’s already ticked), click the Details button. Click Add. Choose the Chinese Input method you want to use.
If you’re running XP it should all be there. What sort of input method do you want? Zhuyin. pinyin . . . ?

A-HAH. As I am no longer a mod (and I was only mod of the tech forum anyway, which this is not), I could not possibly have edited your post. Therefore you suck.
