Often works for me, unless it appears that I might actually be held four-dimensionally* responsible for what I believe or donât believe. I can even hold beliefs that contradict each other, although Iâm not large.
*As to the fourth one, I donât understand what Prof. Minkowski was talking about; I just know that there are deadlines, both human and natural, and that we ainât on geological time.

Interestingly, in the thread, I saw a quibble or two about whether she qualifies as a journalist.
I think sheâs in a class by herself: something like a commando, but one who just did a commando raid with no guns or explosives, and no backup, and against an incomprehensibly larger and more formidable opponent.

What you referred to Russia and China are in fact two old men, only Putin and only Xi.
Speaking of âWeâre right and Youâre Wrongâ, the only BS you need to call out is: that Putin is always right and other Russians are wrong. Similar BS is that Xi is always right and the other Chinese are wrong. These are the fundamental BS you forgot to account for, causing any further thinking downstream to go awry.
Otherwise, any convicted rapist murderer can use your line of rhetorical questioning: âSo youâre right and Iâm wrong?â
But the beauty of the thing is that it breaks down into pro-Trump and anti-Trump factions, just like opinions about the invasion of Ukraine. Plus as a bonus you get the post-within--a-post-within-a-post . . . phenomenon.
