Ukraine Invaded by the Russians - March 2022

Keeping in mind whenever a group of people are running something

It looks more like cognitive dissonance when Americans get up on their soapbox and start pontificating about children and war crimes.

Case in point:

Russia’s attack on Ukraine constitutes the gravest security crisis on the European continent since World War II. I join the international community in condemning Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine. The American government and people must stand in solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people as they seek freedom and the right to choose their own future.

We will stand in solidarity and we will provide some material support but we will not be next to you in your battle

Until such time if and when your enemy comes to my house and then I shall engage him

At the moment we shall virtually stand next to you in solidarity

Remembering the politicians are always ready to engage you in their battles

And stand in solidarity virtually while your ass gets shot

We should give the Russian army Microsoft HoloLens devices. So they can see the actual number of combatants.

Poems instill no fear unlike quatrains

I think the Russian soldiers are already misguided scared and lost already for the most part

That’s not enough. If they did bad shit they need to slapped in irons and brought to justice the same way Vladimir Putin should be brought to justice for his “unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine.”

Otherwise it’s just talk.

Yeh. Inflicting a Microsoft product on them too would be overkill.

Maybe not even legal.

Ilya Ponomarev, former Russian Assembly member, who was the only member of the State Duma to have voted against the annexation of Crimea in 2014, is now fighting with the Ukrainians.

He was threatened to be removed from his position after the 445-1 vote in 2014, and while he was traveling in the US, Russia found a way to bar his return to Russia. Since then he spent most of the time living in Ukraine.

His reason for voting against the annexation was that such a move would push Ukraine out of Russia’s sphere of influence and into the arms of NATO, resulting in unavoidable armed conflict with Ukraine.

He said the ratio of casualties between Russian soldiers, Ukrainian civilians and Ukrainian soldiers is 4:4:1.

One of the jammer’s prank message to Buran-30 asking for a route for retreat actually makes perfect haiku.

Scott Ritter on Russian strategy:

Seem to remember the Russians claimed they were hitting military targets placed in civilian areas weeks ago:

Russia has killed civilians in Ukraine. Kyiv’s defense tactics add to the danger.

So, to summarise, a smaller Russian force has outmanouvred the numerically superior Ukrainians and is poised for victory.

Could be. Or, of course, not. We’ll have to wait and see.

The general point, that losses or gains in acreage don’t mean much in manouvre warfare, is of course valid.

If target too near
NLAW doesn’t arm.

It flys like NLAW

It’s surely NLAW

NLAW certainly.
But only knocked -
Didn’t arm.

Edit: Haikus are fun, but not easy to fit all necessary information. Especially for Germans.
