Unemployment/accident insurance payments?

my boss just told me that the government has told them they must collect NT2100/month (100% FROM ME) for what amounts to unemployment/accident insurance (if i get hurt the government will apparently pay my salary). Does this sound like BS? None of my friends have heard of any contributions other than health care… which i already pay 100% (I negotiated a higher salary but pay all of my health care).

Dude;

I too pay a deduction on each paycheque for “unemployment” insurance. But for me it’s 210 nt per month. It’s really odd because it’s not like you can just take a UI holiday here or anything. Strange.
