Heading over for a 10 day visit in early April. Can I use my Bank of China and ICBC (both mainland cards/accounts) over in the Wan?
In Thailand absolutely every ATM takes UnionPay.
If not I need to exchange some RMB for NT$ before heading over.

They recently signed a deal, and I’ve seen several places with the sign that they do. Nevertheless, as with all things here… you know.
Yes, I can vouch that most ATMs work with UnionPay now. They’ve worked with my card.
Some (but not many) retailers will also accept UnionPay.
