Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let the lurkers know that, I do ride on weekdays. Since I believe that riding at top speeds at night on the riverside is very very dangerous, my speed limit is leisure and conversational.

This is where I do much more simple and leisure routes like riverside paths or some short easy climbs like Jian Nan Road and Zhi Shan Road near the National Palace Museum.

I usually do not post the weekday rides because they are a last minute decision. So, if you’re new to the area or just need to stretch the legs, feel free to join me!

Will it be fall weather? Will it be summer weather?

Thanks for setting this up every week. Just curious, how many riders do you get on average?

Usually it’s no more than 4 or 5 people. I prefer a smaller group, better for training and a little more social than a big group of 10.

I’ve been part of 10-15+ people group rides and there’s just so many different opinions on what route and where to stop for coffee, the ride is not very enjoyable.

No group ride this weekend! In the mean time, I have made some adjustments to the guidelines.

  • Route is subject to change on the day of the ride!
  • Please wear a helmet. You will be politely asked to leave and come back next time if you show up to the meet up not wearing one.
  • Please bring tire repair tools, cash/EasyCard, Photo ID/health insurance cards, mobile phones, food, and any medication you may need.
  • Make sure you are equipped with at least rear lights for the climate could change at high altitudes!
  • Please ride at a safe following distance from cars and other motor vehicles on the road. We share the road, we don’t own it.
  • Please follow proper riding etiquette and use hand signals for everyone’s safety
