I’ve got a cable connection upstairs but no TV. I want to get a Hauppauge PVR USB2 or something similar and link it up to a laptop. Does anyone know where I can get one here? The Hauppauge one does MPEG encoding for analog cable. I think cable here is analog, but I’m not 100% sure. If it is, hardware MPEG seems like the safest option. The laptop has is an Asus G1S with Vista Home Premium and Windows Media Centre, and I want something that can record TV shows with that. Anyone got any recommendations?
