Valid (blue) ARC and reenter Taiwan

I think this is silly to ask, but I still have no idea how to handle this.

I have a current new ARC card (based on marriage), valid until next year.
I know I don’t need re-entry permits anymore in my passport as these are
nowadays noticed on the ARC.
But if I fill in the embarkation cards prior to immigration back in Taiwan,
what do I write in ??
Early this year I was in Hongkong to change my student-ARC into a
resident-visa, so I could get my joining-family-residant-ARC.
At that time I applied for a SINGLE-RESIDENT-VISA.
I suppose I only can use this 1 time, right ???

So, what to write in ??
Field No 7: Kind of Visa and Visa number ??
Keep it even empty ??

Please help - I really want to do everything possible to prevent I do this
Hongkong-hassle again …

Thanx

Thanx[/quote]I always fret about those embarkation cards. They’re not very clear. I’m on a work visa or whatever they call it. I can’t remember exactly but I think I write “resident” for the kind of visa, and the number of the re-entry permit for the visa number.

The immigration officer on arrival always fixes my mistakes. I can never remember if it’s the visa number or the re-entry permit number they want on the form, so I usually leave it blank and they fill it in.

I tend to leave it blank and the nice and helpful people at the airport border control fills it in for me

Thanx for your answers. So I will keep it open too and practice my chinese infront of the officer.
But just out of curiosity:
I checked my passports and I have several re-entry permits with a clearly marked number.
As my blue ARC does not have the passports-stickers, I just wonder what is then
the actual re-entry-permit number ??
Is it
my actual passport number
my taiwan id number (which is on my NHI-Card also)
the number right from my residantel address in Taiwan
The number on the bottom of the picture
the number right side of the picture
or
is it the barcode at the back ??

As I said, just curious, maybe someone knows it …
Again, thanks, from my side this thread closed

It was explained to me by an immigration officer a week ago.

Field nr 7 just write “RE” for Re-entry. Field nr 11, tick “6” - Return. For Visa no (field 5) Check at the bottom of the front of your blue ARC. Right next to “Residence Address” there is a number. Mine starts with FH000. That is your visa number! Hope this helps!
