Validation of second passport marriage

Hello,

I’m German, my wife got a Austrian and Taiwanese passport. We married in Germany with her Austrian Passport. The marriage is under German law

Simple question: How easy is it to get the Taiwanese Government acknowledge that marriage?
I’m expecting some benefits, like being able to work in 7-11

Loads of threads on APRC here. You want one of those. They already acknowledge the marriage, getting the residence visa and APRC is the tricky bit.

Erm, OK. Could you point me to one of those (especially that one which answers my question

I don’t need APRC really. I just wonder how she can get her marriage with me (as she used her Austrian passport) validated in Taiwan.

Does the German marriage certificate have a different name for your wife than is on her ROC passport? If not, she should be able to go to get an ‘AKA’ added to her ROC passport. Otherwise she should be able to show somehow that she is the same person as noted on the marriage cert. The only other complication I can think they might throw at you is to get the marriage registered in Austria too.

Otherwise you will need to go through the usual steps of getting the marriage cert authenticated at the TECO office covering the area where you were married and BOCA in Taipei, getting the marriage registered with the court and entered into the household registration where your wife is registered in Taiwan, getting your criminal record (and authentication) and health check and then applying for the JFRV and ARC.
