Very quiet place to live/write a book

You live in the sticks though .

It’s hands down the quietest place that has civilisation.

In the 90s I lived for a while in New Garden City, out toward Wulai. That place was quiet but definitely in the sticks. But of a hike into Taipei. Another area on the hill back behind WuHsing Street in XinYi distract was also quiet (but inconvenient without transportation). Could probably get a view of Taipei 101 now.

I’d go to Vinyl Decision in Taipei, drink beer, spin wax and write. S’not like you’re going to write 24/7. A man has to live, man.

Could a guy just rock up with the ol’ visa-free (ignoring current affairs) find a country place to rent and sit up for three months? #lifegoals

Not so easy in Taiwan , most landlords are looking for a year lease, even in the countryside . That is if they are willing to rent you the place of your dreams.
