Wanting to take the wife on a surprize trip away. She is Taiwanese, and it is going to be tricky for me to get a hold of her passport.
What countries can Taiwanese get visa free access. I believe Japan, also possibly Thailand, not sure about the philippines. Not found an English list of countries.

Taiwanese passport holders can obtain an on the spot visa at port of entry for US$10.
This means you can take her to Bali.
Pretty sure you can also pick up a Singapore visa on the spot as well (Taiwanese do need one, but it is a landing visa) .
Macau, Macau has also changed a lot if you haven’t been there lately.
