Is there an option to get a visa in Okinawa? I’m looking at doing a visa run to HK on Thursday, but haven’t got the tickets yet. And if Okinawa would be cheaper, I’d rather go there.

Anyone knows about a cruise/boat for a cheap visa run?
I checked Star Cruises: the cheapest price I saw is a bit less than NT20000 for two persons, and only if you are a Taiwanese citizen or a permanent resident. That’s not really useful for a visa run…
As going to a Chinese island, the problem is the visa that is really expensive.
Any advice?
Okinawa is worth visiting. I enjoyed my visit there once on a visa run. TIckets were slightly cheaper then to HK at that time. Took Japan Air Asia who treated this sector like a domestic flight. No wine / alchohol on board. ONly soft drinks. And you get a paper box with a sandwhich . Not a real meal.
Hotels in Naha are reasonably priced. Only the resorts at the beach are expensive really.
