Is it really that bad to get a visa upon arrival???

My partner will be meeting me in Taiwan after I get settled, and paid for one month of work. He may not be able to borrow or save the 3000.00 required to get a visa from the Embassay in Canada. I will be lending him money upon arrival for accomodations, food, transportation ect…
My question is do you need a bank statement to obtain a visa upon arrival?

no you don’t… dude, you asked lots of questions that you already asked before… do’nt you ever read your own threads??? :unamused:

you’ll only get a one month non-extendable landing visa upon arrival and you don’t need a bank statement for that. you need a bank statement if you’re applying for a 2 month/6month visitor visa.
