[Deputy Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong opinion of Taiwan
My opinion is he raised a few quite sensible points - which can all be boiled down to “It’s good to talk” (which can be quite difficult with pressure from the PRC). My assumption is that that is why he risked the ire of the PRC to visit - he thinks that all the parties should be talking to each other, so he wants to talk to all the parties. (Doesn’t mean a change in policy by Singapore, but does mean they’re willing to listen)
