Visiting Taiwan with British passport

Hi,

I was born in Taiwan (1985), and had a Taiwanese passport previously stamped that I have not completed military service. I left Taiwan aged 14, and I am a British citizen now and have been living there for many years, so my Taiwanese passport has long since expired and I don’t have a Hukou. I used to visit Taiwan when I was still in school, but I haven’t since. However, I would like to visit family for a couple of weeks. My British passport does say that place of birth is Taipei, but the name is not exactly the same as my previous Taiwanese passport. If I enter Taiwan with my British passport, am I likely to have a problem with military service? Does any have any experience of the kind of questions they might ask me at immigration and how best to answer them? I would really appreciate the advice. Thanks!
