Visitor visa - required hours of study?

I’m currently studying at ShiDa, 10 hours a week, but I want more flexibility in my schedule.

Does anyone know how many hours I’m required to study, in order to satisfy the visa requirements? I can’t find any indication on the BOCA website, or in this forum.

Several years back I was studying at CLD and getting my visitor’s visa through them. The rule was 10 hours for the group class, but if you took private classes you could get a visa with only six hours. I’m not sure if this was legal with the MOFA or just their own business practice, but you could ask your school about it. I only did it for a few months, but I really learned much faster than I did in a group class, and had more spare time as well.
