I’ve been to a few pharmacies and strangely the only options for Vitamin D3 supplements are blister packed capsules in ridiculously low doses (.25 micrograms).
I am looking for a daily intake of 4,000 IU. Back in the states it was easy to find a bottles full of gel caps in 1,000/2,000 IU and cheap too. SIngapore also. I’m kicking myself for not stocking up!
Is there anywhere in Taipei that sells D3 in grown-up doses and wont break the bank?
You might try GNC but I think they are a bit pricy.

Ended up ordering from iHerb. They have a great selection!
Since you’ve found a solution to your original post, do you mind me asking why you need vitamin D3 supplements in such a sunny country as Taiwan?

Yes, close! I’m too tired to find link to articles, but essentially vitamin D supplementation can help prevent sunburn. And for girls such as me who want to maintain youthful skin, limiting sun exposure is necessary. Plus its just too damn hot and humid here to spend much time outside. And I drink blood.
Do what Taiwanese girls do, carry an umbrella and use it to shield yourself from the nasty sun.
Thats what I usually do, but since I’m on crutches I have no free hands
Thankfully I found a good sunhat that should do the trick.
