What should actually be inspected during the annual or semi-annual car inspection?
Usually I go to a car inspection place which has staff drive your car into the inspection bay and you wait in another area. However, for inspection this week I went to an inspection station next to government traffic department office (reason why is another story). At this inspection station I had to drive the car inside myself. I had to stop at two placesā¦one for testing front brakes and another for testing back brakes. That was all. No looking at front headlamp brightness or direction, turn signals, emissions, etc.
Is that what others have experienced?

Yesterday morning, driving on curvy Hwy 3 in Zhuolan, Miaoli. About 30 Porsches overtake us at high speed, crossing the yellow double line in the center of the road despite oncoming traffic. Rich, selfish assholes.

If youāre saying Taiwan was already beige on beige, I think this was a pendulum swing from the early 20-teens neon colors and a rejection of what I have come to understand is called āmillennial greyā. The mom in that story is out of her mind though. Itās one thing to acknowledge that childrenās toys are too bright and that busy patterns are distracting to the mind but itās something else entirely to have a problem with the grass being green. Also, Taiwan has boring color pallets but they also love to add clashing and unreasonably busy patterns to things in places where they serve no purpose.
I was mostly referring to landlord off white/cream painted walls which I have endured for decades now.
Also the kids clothes styles have been very Korean for years now, all beige , browns , black and whites.

Along with my girlfriendās flower, thatās four different ones Iāve seen. I wonder how many variants there are 
The QR code madness continues. Went to a bank to make money transfer. No more pressing button to get your number to wait in line. Now must use QR code to get app to get your number. Not easy so have staff there to help. Then while you wait in line you start getting multiple SMS from bank. Some are adsā¦some just saying we will be served soon.
And of course so many restaurants using QR to get to their menus which are very complicated to use. When you have engineers and others with us not knowing how to use the app then there are design problems.

Thatās terrible especially when almost everybody has the app already but you are forced to go to the physical bank to do some dumb shit face to face.

Our local dermatologist has this systemā¦but then the lines there are exponential and wait times a chore.
If I saw that at the bank, Iād turn around. It means the wait is too long.
They still call or flash your number on a screen. I assume if you are not there they will just pass you byā¦
