Yup that and much worse. Homeless people and refugees everywhere too. People nicking stuff.
Yeah remember a few years ago âStarbucksâ basically got social media shamed into allowing homeless people and drug addicts free rein of their bathrooms because how dare they only allow their bathrooms for paying customers.
Hang in there manâthe battle can be won, but some strategies may be needed. These strategies include selecting cafes located quite far from MRT stations and shopping areas (for me: office areas on weekends) as well as showing up at strategic times (for me: just after noon when some customers may be leaving).
The battle continues!

He was probably like. âwho walks anyways?â

Why did the accomplice get a harsher sentence?
For posting two year old stories?! So 2000 & late!
To answer your question, the accomplice was apparently identified as the ring leader who organised the whole dumb affair.
Well, for one thing heâs not the one who had both his feet amputated. That by itself is already a severe consequence to his actions.
Also, the guy was tied down to prevent him from backing out, and iirc it was the other guys idea to begin with. Plus Iâm not sure how mentally fit the amputee was to agree to such a plan.
A terrible story, but at least this one involved self-harm.
A Taiwan fraud case I am familiar with conversely involved killing others including a spouse from Viet Nam. ![]()

Itâs an oldie but an infamous one. Thereâs some youtubes you can see online in Chinese about it.
An explosion that split the pavement, sending debris into the air on a road in New Taipeiâs Banqiao District Tuesday, was caused by termites biting through a high-voltage cable, local authorities said.
According to a preliminary investigation by Taipower, termites, which were found at the site, are believed to have chewed through a cable connector, causing the cable to short circuit and trigger a blast of air that ripped through the pavement, leaving a 2-square-meter hole, the department said.
Temple group in Yilan goes to the beach and illegally burns large amounts of joss paper, sending lots of smoke into nearby areas. EPA says itâs illegal and last year fined them NT$1,200. Temple staff say they follow their deitiesâ will and will continue to burn on the beach unless the deities says otherwise.
Why donât just burn the temple down if their gods like fire so much?
Lunatic. They got the minimum fine last year, what about this year?
The framing of the critique of these Yilan temple pyromaniacs is very interesting: Itâs bad for business.
When pro-temple and pro-business forces collide in Taiwan, will we see an unstoppable force hitting an unmoveable object?

Temple AHoles have done a similar burn in Bitan a few times, they dig trenches in the riverbank and fill them with joss paper before setting the whole lot on fire. Ridiculous amount of smoke and then ash floating around for hours and coating everything.
If they make a proper beef version, Iâll give it a try
Maybe 7 layers of beef will tip the scales for you ?
