These are the reasons i absolutely refuse to give personal details about myself unless legally threatened, by the government, with jail and a lawyer confirms that possibility. Never could understand why so many people give up their details for a vip card, shopping website etc…its short sighted and quite naive. People arent generally very trustworthy, regardelss of how much we hope they are.
However, what this person did was nothing of the sort and was trying to help society and the government by giving them a tip to investigate. The government right fucked up this one, and it will only create a huge gap in trust towards the public and the gov. I know for damn sure i am not cooperating with the labor beaurue unless its absolutely the bare minimum legal requirement.
