Was Aaron Sorkin Right About the Internet?

In other words, “we” are his pajama people. I like my pajamas

I think many of us were “right” about the negative side of the Internet, too, in our own ways.

Mine: I never set up an FB account. Am so glad about that decision when everyone and their dog and cat were doing so over a decade ago.

I like what he said about newspapers.

When you buy a paper, your anonymous; when you read most news websites and have to sign up to keep reading, they want an enormous amount of personal information. News organisations don’t make money out of ads anymore, the make money from the reader and the information we naively give over without a second thought.

I am too old to be governed by fear of dumb people.

That’s a good one. I might change “dumb” to “woke” these days.
