I received this email in my HINET account today, from: Post Office - postmaster@msa.hinet.net. (do not send anything to this email address, it’s trouble!!!)
Following the message, it included a link or attachment that my Norton Anti-Virus intercepted and detected as a virus - M32.Mydoom.M@MM
The email read as follows:
[quote]Dear user of msa.hinet.net,
Your e-mail account has been used to send a huge amount of unsolicited email messages during the recent week.
Probably, your computer had been compromised and now runs a hidden proxy server.
Please follow the instruction in order to keep your computer safe.
Have a nice day,

I called HINET and after way too much hassle on the phone trying to get an answer, they finally did confirm for me that this is not from them.
I just wanted to let anyone know in case you get it and your anti-virus software doesn’t pick it up, or if you are running your computer unprotected.
