Watchdog Blasts AIT Services

Good to see someone is speaking out about this problem.
It’s not just Taiwanese who get the bad treatment. The American services section isn’t much better.

I always got whatever i needed done in a timely fashion. other’s experiences may be different, but after multiple visits over 15 years i don’t have any bad impression.

My experiences with the Kaoshiung AIT offices have been well-handled, courteous and very professional.

Unlike frickin’ TECO offices in the USA. Bunch of idiots.

The reason is, after they switched to an appointment system instead of a first-come-line-up-then-serve system is that people still insist on showing up three hours ahead of time, and end up lining up. It’s not entirely AIT’s fault.

In my humble opinion the failure of the US government representative office in Taiwan to operate in a professional and courteous manner reflects badly on all Americans.
