Does anyone know of stores that have quality math and science resources for kids. Things like tangram sets, building blocks, model insects, prisms and lenses, insect jars (the ones with a convex lens lid), books, etc.

The Hsinyi district’s or Neihu’s Eslite bookstore building’s children’s floors have a store that sells some pretty cool science kits, including those dig-for-bone kits, crystal-making kits, crkaleidoscopes (cheap and really neat ones), magnifying glasses, microscopes… the same floor at Hsinyi also has a number of stores selling interesting educational materials, blocks and so on.

The Good Toys Store sells wooden blocks, tangrams, and other quality toys and games. Not cheap, though. You can search for them online on this forum, and you should also find a good list of other stores that sell educational toys and games. I listed some not long ago.

The Science Museum in Shilin also has a National Geographic store and their own science store.
