Basically they’re tablets made from a type of fruit that, when dissolved in your mouth, will temporarily make normally sour things taste sweet.
A friend of mine tried them at a party in Taiwan, and said they made limes taste like candy.
Anyone know where they can be found? The writing on the box is even in Chinese.
I ordered dried ones from Yahoo auctions. One was enough to alter flavors for 20 minutes or so. Tablets here. They’re called 神秘果 “shen2 mi4 guo3” in Chinese. You can also find live plants at the Jianguo weekend flower market usually.
they make them here, but all local ones are technically illegal due to patent issues. or can buy fresh fruit, being in Taiwan fresh fruit is easy to send.

Yes, they’re easy to get. I have one. Although no fruit on it so far.
i sell them hint hint 
next day delivery within Taiwan, hint hint again. haha. just find a grower inside taiwan, taiwan always has next day delivery except holidays so fresh berries are easy to get. and winter is the best season, heavy rains ruin harvest unless covered crops are grown.

Well, if anyone is wondering, I can answer my own question now. It takes 1 day, one of the benefits of living on a small island I guess haha.
