We just had the most beautiful child ever. Every morning, I get to greet my little 5 month old baby girl and she smiles back at me. It melts my heart every time. My wife and I were married for 3 years before she became pregnant. There have been tough times and good times. But sharing and creating a new life trumps everything else. Having a baby puts a new fresh perspective to responsibility and relationships.
If you are ready for it and you want it, you should have kids. Besides, Asian mix kids (Im a “foreigner”, she is Taiwanese) are the cutest in the world! (Ok, maybe I am biased ) But if you just think that kids are neat, borrow your friends for a day and get your fix, because it is a full time 24/7 responsibility and we are loving every minute of it!
WAit till she gets into her late teens and early twenties, you will be beating off the suitors at the door She looks like she will have a nice personality too !! Congrats, shes a cutie.
Uh, well I guess that guys will be slightly less driven to bed her if you made them blow their loads before they even got in the house, but is that really necessary?
Need I say more! I just can’t stop loving this little Cherub!

Very cute
Just wait until she is one or two though and she gets you (her slave) a leash and you are doing everything she requests… From personal experience babies are very disarming and manipulative , but oh so wonderful

She’s beautiful! :bravo:
The whole “mixed babies are beautiful” thing doesn’t really resonate with me though. I’ve seen some ugly “mixed” babies. I think pretty much all dads are convinced that their own babies are the cutest in the world - I know I do. That is as it should be, but beautiful babies exist in every possible genetic combination - “mixed” babies have no real beauty advantage over others except for being exotic in the eyes of many Taiwanese.

Agreed, I have seen some doosies too, but for the most part, I find the Chinese/Caucasian girls to be especially cute. And again, I have a very special 5 month old bias to that!
Thank you all for the kind comments, and yes TNT, she already has me wrapped around her finger!

I’m sure in Japan, this combination is becoming more and more popular. While African-Americans/Africans usually experience racism in Korea/Taiwan/China, they are treated quite well in Japan (especially in Roppongi). Very beautiful combination indeed.
Weiguy Penyou’s baby really is cheribic. I have a friend who’s daughter, mixed white and Taiwanese (and her dad, from the look of him, must have quite a bit of native tribe in him) is very, very beautiful. My own half Taiwanese son is drop dead gorgous! But once, before I had my son, I saw a small girl, maybe four or five, who was nothing if not an angel straight from heaven! That girl took my breath away. I can’t immagine what she’ll look like at 20! And she may have been mixed, but I don’t think so. I think she was just profoundly beautifuly Chinese.
The photo Namahottie posted is of a very beautiful woman, but I wonder what her life would have been like if she’d had lighter skin and typically “black” features. Yes, in Ropongi the black guys are worshiped, but would the woman have been though of as beautiful without her Japanese facial features?
I DO NOT MEAN TO IMPLY THAT “BLACK” FEATURES ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL!
I’m just saying that, in asia, beauty is more racially based, even in Japan. And not only beauty.
Sorry if this is getting to off topic and rant like!
My daughter is very beautiful. But I never realized the thing about seeing your kids through a dad’s eyes until I was looking through some old pictures. Was she really that fat? I know the neighbors used to call her xiaopang, but I just don’t remember her that fat. Pictures don’t lie I guess. She’s not fat now though.
She’s definitely a cutie. But, sorry to say, she’s notthe most beautiful child. That would be mine.
I know how you feel, though. (At least I think I do; I don’t think you were just talking about physical appearance). Before having a child I didn’t yeaaaaarn for a child or dream about how great it would be. It just kind of happened. But I then discovered immediately what a fantastic experience parenthood is. I love my wife, I love my mom and dad, I love my brothers, but – boy oh boy – nothing compares to the love for ones child. It’s amazing to see them grow and learn and develop and nothing brings me more joy than being with my girl.
