But for the English service you have to go to a different church, the Church of the Good Shepherd in Shih-lin: https://www.englishchurchtaiwangoodshepherd.com/

I have always wondered what the US “Anglicans” (conservative Episcopal schismatics) made of Province VIII. The whole TOS (“The Episcopal Church”, i.e. the rump US liberals) House of Bishops met here in 2014, back when Schori was its madam.

That’s interesting.
In Canadia, the Anglican Church has always been a very well established standalone denomination (if slightly German/Dutch in flavour, not that there’s anything wrong with that).

In the USA, after the American Revolution, they didn’t want to keep calling themselves “Anglicans,” hence the “Episcopalian” moniker. But when conservative Episcopalians began defecting in the 1990s (mostly over the gay issue), they adopted the “Anglican” label to distinguish themselves. Canadian Anglicans lack this history–that was always what their church was called.

Yanks are so weird…
