Wellcome Theme

HELP :help: … I just went grocery shopping, and I can’t get the Wellcome theme tune out of my head :loco: :loco: :loco: … does anyone know if it’s from a real piece of music with actual creative merit and a real composer - which would at least partially justify its presence in my head - or is it just a worthless piece of aural wallpaper designed to create mass irritation :smiling_imp: (sometimes I hum it in front of people without realizing what I’m doing!!!)?

You’d be silly to imagine that someone wasn’t hoping for this effect. I know the song very well and rate it as a great success. I don’t love the song, but I don’t hate it. It has just become part of me, as it has of you. But why are they so often out of Guiness?

I don’t know who did it but I wish Carrefour would stop ROLLING BACK it’s doing my head in. ROLL BACK ROLL BACK ARGHHhhhhh.

The fucking Wellcome theme drives me nuts too. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I thought i was being over-sensitive. Imagine the hell it must be for the poor souls who work there for 70NT an hout.

You Yi Ge Xin Xian De Di Fang, You Yi Ge Xin Xian De Di Fang…

I used to work the Wellcome song into a shopping dance while I chose my groceries… I loved it.

I guess that tune is not what Bu Lai En is dancing to

Go meet the music truck. You can’t get more cultured than Beethoven, and Fur Elise will displace most other crap.

Or do you want me to hum the Pina Colada song made famous by Barry Manilow?

That’s B&Q

The one that always gets me is the Daiichi song. It is a horrible mix between Disney and Leave it to Beaver. Why do they have to play it both inside and OUTSIDE of the building? Makes me walk around blocks just to avoid hearing it. I can’t walk by the store without getting it stuck in my head for days and days and days…

Aiyo! just thinking about it has gotten it into my head… :frowning:

My bus from the Shingkong building near TMS arrived too slowly the other day and I was stuck listening to the “Geooooorge & MarY!” loop for about 20 minutes.
