I brought a jar of Smuckers butterscotch ice cream topping with me this time… can’t find butterscotch in Taiwan…

And my boy and I love watching the Three Stooges… I have 3 tapes, if you wanna make copies. My kid’s favorite episode is Hoi Polloi. Also have some Mayberry RFD.

Ah, but do you have The Andy Griffith Show on DVD? That would be something.
Maoman has The Little Rascals remasters. Brilliant stuff!

Nope. But I have a T-shirt with a picture of Andy and Barney. both with wide, blood-shot eyes and goofy grins, and Barney is staring at his hands… The caption reads, “Gee Andy, did you ever REALLY look at your hands?”

In big letters across the top it reads, “Mayberry, LSD”

That shirt always makes me laugh.

The smell of wood chips in a workshop.
Drinking from a mountain stream.
A campfire.
Swilling ale.
Cleavage.
Going to the toilet when you are bursting at the seams.

cleavage, i’ll drink to that!

but almas john, do they have cleavage (pronounced clee-VAHZ where I come from) in Chiayi-Jiayi-Jayi-Gagi?

If you like two fried eggs for breakfast, you’ll be okay.

Listening to Mr. Jim Morrison and the Doors or Mr. Jimi Hendrix as I speed-hike my way up a mountain, alone.

Getting to the top of the mountain, taking off my boots, bathing in a spring, and drying in the sun while I smoke a long-awaited cigarette.

Larry McMurtry and Pat Conroy novels; Clint Eastwood films.

Getting the friends together for a night of live music and dancing.

Driving a long distance on the open road, windows down, shades on, CCR or Soundgarden on the CD player, a lovely girlfriend at my side.

Hanging out with old people who haven’t lost their lust for life.

The moment the plane touches down and I don’t have to get on one again for two weeks.

Any natural setting untrammelled by man.

Starting from nothing.

My baby’s smile and laugh!

I love to see old cuples holding hands or walking with their arms around eachother.

Listening to Rock and Roll from the 60’s, 70’, and some from the80’s, and my husband, who prefers classical, not bitcing about it.

Even better when he’ll dance with me!

Walking into my best friend’s house, even if I’ve been gone for a couple years, and being free to raid the fridge.

A good long back scratch.

A nice red wine in a nice bubble bath.

Ordering a big mac without that crappy thousand island dressing and actually getting it!

Real talk with real friends.

[quote=“tigerman”]1. A young girl walking down the street and she suddenly smiles or laughs to herself, in an almost shy embarrassed manner… I always wonder what she is thinking of that has made her suddenly happy; and

Well… Have you ever spotted me somehere Oops ?

I’m thinking to smile more at foreigners in the streets whenever I see one…No, not that ogles

…So I think those are nature calls…, especially the last one, quite urgent

I’d love to add one more up: Reading those of your replies to this thread …
Many of your subtle feeling about different things/scenes is just inspiring.
Xie Xie for sharing.

Are you a Taiwan girl? It seems you are implying you are but I think not since Taiwanese don’t usually use pinyin and so would not have written “Xie Xie”

Whatever. This was a pleasant thread for a change. Happy trolling in the future.
