And yet, so many Taiwanese like.

In my experience, the Taiwanese and Chinese people I’ve associated with in the UK don’t actually like Wagamama - they just go there (a lot) because it’s a cheap and easy way for them to get familiar homely-ish food from basically any busy shopping area in the country.

I agree with you that Wagamama is total rubbish though. I pretty much only ever have it because of the scenario I just outlined when I’m with an East-Asian person.

This is actually justifiable, tendon is not gristle, and stripping it loose from the muscle and bone is a hassle and requires some skill.
