What does this Taiwanese Mandarin Song Mean?

你好，我是美國人。

I have been learning Mandarin for almost two years and I have been listening to Taiwanese (as well as mainland) music to help learn the language. There is a song I really like called “我是中國人”. I understand a few parts of the song, I know that it means “I am Chinese” but I can’t find an English translation for the lyrics.

Could someone please explain what the lyrics mean?

  2. Find the Chinese lyrics on the 1st page.
  3. Use Google translation.
  4. Since you’re learning Mandarin and Chinese, why not translate it from Chinese into English as a practice for yourself?
