I play video games, but I don’t play online. I’d much rather play couch co-op. Certainly don’t want to play online with the masses - i’m not a masochist.
Twitch is, in my opinion, the quantity over quality of video game content. Because of course it is - a 30 min “let’s play” video might still be shit quality, but it’s only 30 minutes of it instead of a four hour stream.
I understand the popularity of streaming as like, background noise. When I worked at an elementary school here in Taiwan, I’d occasionally tune into a stream just to have something going in the background. I don’t really understand the people who genuinely sit down and watch a stream.
YouTube video for me all day any day. Maybe not all day though. Thats a bit much.
Hi, which is the popular online multiplayer game in this group?

Jajaja
I play Final Fantasy XIV
But their subscription cost is REALLY expensive.
I tried rocket league but is super addictive. I just avoid multiplayer games.
A lot of multiplayer games do micro transactions, they make more money this way. I hate most of them because they’re little more than a money milking platform that happens to be a game. They make them addictive for a reason.
I played rocket league and Fortnite. Both don’t have micro transactions, you can only buy cosmetics.
They make a lot of money on cosmetics. I find it to be pointless, but plenty of online or mobile games are pay to win.
Which popular game do you recommend that is online multiplayer and first shooter or 3rd shooter?
Sea of Thieves is the last online multiplayer game I played and it was several weeks back. At the moment I am not having enough free time to enjoy playing my video games.
For anyone wondering, here’s a website that tells you current/upcoming free epic games…
Some older AAA games will be included.
